SMSF’s have been growing in popularity in recent years due to the many benefits of owning and operating one. An SMSF can be highly effective when you want complete control over your wealth, potentially meaning a larger nest-egg for retirement. However, your SMSF must be legally compliant so expert advice is critical to ensure you set up and borrow through your SMSF correctly.
Please note that an SMSF is only possible if you and your spouse have a minimum combined superannuation of $150,000 or more.
Dave Cashman – CPA/Director at Cashmanagement
Dave will discuss SMSF and financial planning services such as the establishment of your SMSF and borrowing structure, and the end of year tax preparation and accounting services for all SMSF?s.
Vicki Mountain – Senior Lawyer/Director at Mountains Lawyers
Vicki will discuss the structure of SMSF trusts and some of the laws relating to the obligations and duties of SMSF Trustees and consequences of non-compliance with the various laws governing the funds.
Donna Gordin – Director/Licensee at Home 2 Home Realty
Donna will discuss the importance of choosing property wisely and the benefits of establishing a close relationship with your property manager.
James Eaves – Finance Manager at Smartline Personal Mortgage Advisers, Rockingham
James will briefly discuss how a Smartline Personal Mortgage Adviser can assist you to navigate the obligations of borrowing through an SMSF to purchase property.
I hope to see you there but don’t forget to RSVP by Monday 24th August.
